The CSTO Discussed Proposals to Relieve Tension on the Border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

CentralAsia (TJ) – At a meeting of the heads of the CSTO international military cooperation divisions, proposals were developed for the heads of defense departments to relieve tension on the border sections between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

This was announced by the head of the Department of International Military Cooperation – Assistant Minister of Defense for International Military Cooperation of Belarus Valery Revenko.

The issues of the military-political situation in the areas of responsibility of the organization were also discussed and the measures of international military cooperation within the framework of the Belarusian presidency were clarified.
